Databases Covering Bioscience Literature Available at Drexel University
Over the next few days I will be highlighting databases available through the Drexel University Libraries that pertain to biosciences.
BasicBiosis
This is a basic index about biology and other life sciences; it covers the core of life science journals found in college and university libraries. It is a rolling file which is updated monthly, and spans the most recent four years. This means that older material will drop off as new material is added. This database is most appropriate for most undergraduate research needs.
Biological and Agricultural Index
Provides full text and abstracts of journal articles pertaining to biology and agricultural research for the years 1982 to current. This database is one of a family of databases called Wilson Omnifile. Once you have clicked on Biological and Agricultural Index from our database list, select "Biological & Agricultural (BA)" from the drop-down menu under Subject Area, for the most efficient search.
